The Department of Agrarian Reform-Cordillera (DAR-CAR), under the leadership of Regional Director (RD) Samuel S. Solomero, has achieved remarkable recognition at the CY 2024 DAR National Year-End Summative Assessment and CY 2025 Direction Setting Conference.

Highlighting its commitment to excellence, DAR-CAR secured multiple titles, solidifying its role in uplifting agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and promoting agricultural development in the region.

DAR-CAR clinched 1st place for the Most Improved Region in Agri-Credit and Microfinance Loan Facilitation, a testament to its unwavering dedication to improving credit access for ARBs.

The recognition underscores the region’s relentless efforts in ensuring financial inclusion and fostering program excellence in agrarian communities.

A Certificate of Recognition was awarded to the Department of Agrarian Reform Adjudication Board-CAR (DARAB-CAR) for achieving an unprecedented zero-pending caseload by resolving 100% of the 1,037 cases regionwide for CY 2024.

This milestone sets a benchmark of efficiency and service excellence, reinforcing DARAB-CAR’s commitment to upholding justice for agrarian reform beneficiaries.

DAR-Apayao was also honored with a Certificate of Recognition for providing the highest number of Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) with marketing assistance.

The province played a pivotal role in helping ARBOs in Agrarian Reform Communities (ARCs) achieve an annual gross sales of over PHP 3 million by linking farmers’ products with institutional buyers.

Further, DAR-CAR was cited as one of the five regional offices nationwide to be ISO-accredited.

This recognition reflects the region’s adherence to international quality management standards, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
