Baguio City– A missing six-year-old boy with autism was found alive this morning in Barangay Middle Atok Trail, ending three days of fear and uncertainty for his family.

Jarren Dabaras, non-verbal and with autism level 3, went missing around 12 midnight on September 29. For three days, his family, neighbors, volunteers, and local authorities searched tirelessly. He had no food, no water, and no way to call for help.

At around 10 a.m. today, volunteer and jeepney driver Allain Bacbac found Jarren sitting on a rock by the riverbank. He was weak, covered in mud, but alive.

How the boy managed to survive three nights in the cold and dangerous terrain remains a mystery. For his family, his survival is nothing short of a miracle.

Jarren is now under medical care for weakness and dehydration. His family and neighbors expressed their deep gratitude, calling his survival a blessing for the entire community.

For the Dabaras family, three long days of fear ended in relief. What they prayed for most was finding Jarren alive, and that prayer has finally been answered.//via Bombo Cara Sacyaten
