BAGUIO CITY — John Hay Golf stormed to the top of the Fil A Seniors division, outdueling co-host Baguio Country Club on its home turf with an 81-point showing for a three-day total of 278 in the 75th Fil-Am Invitational Golf Tournament.
Dai Tsuchiya led the charge with 22, followed by retired police general Villamor Bumanglag (21) and a pair of 19s from Dr. Bayani Tecson and Santiago Enginco.
Baguio Blue Bloods also carded a flight-best 81 to climb to second with 272, just six shots back, behind a strong outing from lawyer Rudy Lockey (25) and Manny Solis (21).
BCC, which led the first two days, slipped to third after a rough 68 at Camp John Hay.
FODC Team stayed within striking distance at 262, only four points behind BCC and preventing an all-Baguio top three—at least for now.
The Young Ones blasted 90 points to grab a share of the Am A Seniors lead at 240, matching Moto’s output.
Elmer Sagadraca paced the charge with 26, backed by Victor Salinas (23) and Edilberto Endel Pasumbal (21).
Moto leaned on Philex Mining executive Eulalio Austin, who fired 27 to keep them in joint first.

LMG Golf Cabanatuan made the biggest jump, firing a flight-best 76 to reach 218, anchored by Xerxes Cortel’s 27. LMG would be closer were it not for a two-point Day 2 penalty.
