BAGUIO CITY – The Republic of Korea topped the regional importers of the Cordillera Region.
Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Cordillera regional director Villafe Alibuyog said products from Korea include electrical machinery, sound recorders and producers, accessories, spare parts of aircrafts and spacecrafts and others.
She said that United States comes in second followed by countries Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and China.
PSA – Cordillera’s record shows that the total import payment of the five top imports last year reached 95.3 percent, lower than the 19.8 percent recorded in 2017.
